EMCView support for R&S ESRP

We have purchased the EMCView software and are using the ESRP7 from R&S as our receiver. We would greatly appreciate it if you could add support for this instrument in your software.
Could you let us know if there are any planned updates in the near future that will include support for the ESRP? If not, what is your general policy regarding the integration of new instruments?

We apologize, but we do not plan to support R&S high-end analyzers. You can view the supported devices on the homepage or in the function matrix in the software. The focus of the supported devices is in the precompliance field, which can also be served with less expensive measuring instruments. We place great importance on the supported devices being properly supported by the respective manufacturers.

This is very unfortunate for us, since we purchased the software in a good will that you plan to extend your support and now as such, the software for us is pretty much useless… Let me stress, that ESRP is not a high-end instrument and the letter P stands for Pre-compliance. Therefore I sincerely expected that this instrument will be supported in near future, as some other R&S instruments are.
I would really ask you to reconsider it and if there is anything we can do to support you in this matter, we are open for any ideas.

I am sorry, but we never anounced support for any other model than R&S FPC/FPH models anywhere. This is also the first request we received for an ESRP model. R&S offers the Elektra SW for EMC measurements.

I am aware that you haven’t announced to support that specific instrument, but I took it is as self evident, since I am quite sure it is a matter of a few lines of codes. If it helps we are happy to collaborate with you on that matter offering you support in programming and testing as have are quite some experience in programming the measurement instruments. IMHO, Elektra software is not that good.
